The Daily World
Local newspaper published in Aberdeen, covering current events throughout the Harbor. The former editor/publisher, John Hughes, has written Harbor histories, and The Daily World occasionally publishes photographs from the Jones Photo Co. Historical Collection.
Timberland Regional Library
Extensive collection of books on Harbor history. The library's Aberdeen branch is also the repository of microfilm archives of The Daily World from approximately 1904 to 1997. TRL has 27 local branches throughout north and southwest Washington.
Aberdeen Museum of History
Collections include state and local histories, Native cultural artifacts, old city directories, high school and college yearbooks, as well as rare books, clippings, and photo archives.
Polson Museum
Located in Hoquiam, the museum has more than 10,000 artifacts including photographs and household articles representing the Harbor's history, with a special focus on railroads and antique logging equipment.
Westport Maritime Museum
Run by the Westport South Beach Historical Society, its mission is to preserve the history of the Westport and south beaches area, including the cranberry and fishing industries, plus histories of the local Coast Guard and Westport Light.
University of Washington Libraries Digital Collection
The UW has an extensive collection of historical photos, including many of the Harbor area not included in the Jones Photo Historical Collection.
Washington State University, The Charles Pratsch Image Collection
WSU has the entire Charles Pratsch photo collection of the Harbor area dating between 1888 and 1913, which was approximately the date Jones Photo Co. was established.
Washington State History Museum
The Washington State Historical Society website gives access to an online database of collections which include historical photographs, maps, manuscripts, and artifacts from throughout the state.
