And thanks to Sam Talley who adds: “Notice all the entertainment games available to patrons, in contrast to the taverns of the early 1900’s. There is shuffle board, a bowling game, and in the back is a pinball game. At the counter are numerous punchboards. Displayed on the counters behind the bar are prizes for the lucky punchboard winners such as canned hams, dolls, spot lights, foods, trinkets, boxed mystery prizes, and more."
