6143_1 appears on page 23 of  William D. Jones' "Motor Cars and Serv-Us Stations" under the number 6143. Book caption reads : "Red Crown Gasoline truck in B. P. O. Elks State Convention parade in Aberdeen, June 1927. Signs on tank truck say Lindbergh, Byrd, and Maitland used Red Crown gas in their airplanes. Standard Oil Company products."
