Thanks to Sam Talley who notes: "Walter Fovargue became a professional golfer in 1913 at age 18, and at the age of 25 was one of the founders of the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA). He was a nationally recognized golf course designer and was responsible for many courses in the midwest. He was commissioned to design the Grays Harbor Country Club course and moved to Aberdeen. He also designed the Willapa and Olympia courses, as well as the Oakridge Golf Course near Elma."
