An aerial view by Stan Spiegle. Thanks to Sam Talley who notes: “Point Brown is on the southern tip of the Ocean Shores peninsula directly across Grays Harbor from Westport. The area around the North Jetty at the Point is an excellent place to observe birds, especially in the fall and spring. Between 1929 and 1960 the peninsula was a private cattle ranch. It was sold to the Ocean Shores Development Corp. in 1960 for $1,000,000 and was later incorporated into the City of Ocean Shores. The area in this photo is now all residential.”
