Thanks to current owner [2009] Erv Granahan who notes: “At the time the photo was taken this farm belonged to Tim Gleason. It is located on the Middle Satsop Road in Brady, just east of Montesano. This property was homesteaded by pioneer John Brady in the 1860’s and inherited by his son Elmer R. Brady. From the records it appears that Elmer lost the farm and James Gleason purchased it at a Sheriff's Sale. Tim Gleason was James Gleason's son. The house and barn are still standing. The property has been divided and my wife and I own the house and garage. George and Trudy Halverson own the barn and the rest of the farm and have built a new house on their property. The farm is now the Brady Christmas Tree Farm owned by the Halversons." There is an original homestead deed to the property signed by Ulysses S. Grant.
