Thanks to Barbara Hammell, who wrote: 'This picture is a wonderful find and thrill for me, as my mother went to this school along with her 3 sisters. Mom was born Charlotte Ada Skinner, in 1900, and her family lived on Terrace Ave for many years. Irene, Ruth,and Florence Skinner all attended this school. When my mom moved back to the harbor, we lived in the old family home, and I remember going to the what was left of the school and dragging home an old stuffed moose head (what a treasure for a 5 year old to find) but what a disappointment when I had to drag it right back....as mom said it was stealing... soon after nothing was left to know that a school was ever there.'
