Caption : "Archibald McNeill, 1893" Thanks to Sam Talley, who adds: "In the 1920's at what is now [2009] the Cosmopolis boat launch area, my grandfather George Bowen saw a sturgeon loaded onto a twelve foot long horse drawn buckboard with the head and tail hanging over the front and back. Ten footers were a common sight. It is still a popular place to sturgeon fish from the shore."
