Description

Thanks to Sam Talley who notes: “Pilchard and sardines are of the same genus (Sardina). Sardines are considered to be less than 4-6" long and pilchard are over 4-6" long, depending on the common language description of the area in which they are caught and sold. These fish are found in oceans around the world, although stocks have been depleted in some areas.”
