Thanks to Sam Talley who notes: "The original STAG HOUND was a famous clipper ship built in 1850. The STAG HOUND depicted here was one of the 173 C2 type cargo ships built between 1940-1945. It had five holds, was 459 feet long, and had a speed of 15.5 knots."
