Thanks also to Kathleen Peterson who adds: "in the 1950's, Doc Stimpson moved his shoe repair business to Simpson Avenue right next door to Goodin's Confectionery Store in Hoquiam . That was a nice location for Mr. Stimpson and he prospered there for many years.”
