Thanks to Sam Talley, who adds: "Ed Halverson was my grandmother Mila's brother. He was raised in the family home at 611 F St., Cosmopolis, which is depicted in photo number 4691_1"
Mr. Talley also notes that "In the mid-1950's I mowed Mr. Davis' lawn. He paid me a dollar. Mrs. Davis had a common red breasted robin in a cage about 5 feet long and 3 feet high, sitting in a bay window. She said she found the bird on the ground and raised it with an eye dropper. It was over 10 years old."
