Thanks to Terri Middleton, who adds: "This photo was taken at low tide. Note the large expanse of exposed ground between the two channels of the Chehalis River. At high tide this ground is covered by water - barely. The white lines near the top of the photo are waves breaking along the beaches of Westport, on the left, and Ocean Shores, on the right. Highway 105 to Wesport is running along the south channel on the left. The Chehalis River Bridge, lower right, runs Highway 101 from Aberdeen south."
