Aberdeen from the east.
Thanks to Sam Talley, who adds this perspective: "This type of view was along various 'lover's lanes' overlooking Aberdeen where we'd park with the girls. We could see where the night lights spelled out names, places, and especially dirty words. I think most of it was figments of our imaginations."
