Description

Quoting the studio's caption : "John Lindstrom House, 822 W. Hume - Mr. & Mrs. with son Carl - duaghter Mabel - former Aberdeen mayor & shipbuilder"
Thanks to Sam Talley, who adds: "Hume St. was named after William Hume, who in 1876 with George Hume and R. D. Hume, built a cannery along the Wishkah River on the street named after them. At first they used Chinese laborers and Columbia River fishermen for the fishing season. The cannery operated successfully for over 50 years. The street was later renamed State St."
