An aerial view by Stan Spiegle. Thanks to Jim Borden, who notes, "Near the center of this photograph, you will find the track and Smith farm. Highway 12 runs betwween these two roads, the Monte-Brady, and what was the original highway 410.
Oscar Smith's dairy farm featured a horse ring, barn, gardens and stables. Thanks to both Jim Borden and Terri Middleton who note that there are several photos among the Stan Spiegle aerials that show this farm from various angles. It has since been broken up into smaller parcels, but [in 2009] the house and several of its surrounding acres are still intact as one property, and is located on what is now the Monte-Brady Road. When Terri Middleton grew up there in the 1960's, the address was Star Route Box 62. The 1951 Polk's City Directory lists Oscar Smith at Star Route Box 112, Montesano.
