A note indicates that the girl on the left is Little Miss Grays Harbor, her sash reads "Miss Finch." The picture may have been taken at Finch Playfield in the Pilgrim Heights neighborhood. Edward Finch, developer of his namesake building and the playground in Aberdeen, as well as Finch Farms south of the Chehalis River, had experienced poverty, been a state senator, a millionaire, and a philanthropist.
