Sport diggers have a successful summer day at the beach. The two men in the foreground use traditional "clam guns", short-handled narrow-bladed shovels which allow quick precise digging alongside and under the fast-moving razor clams. Behind them in the middle distance someone is using a "clam tube" to pull the clams out of the sand.
