This is in the 300 block of Cleveland Street ; the family receiving the package delivery stand on the porch of 312 Cleveland. The second home from the right (320 Cleveland ) was Ken Strom's family home from the late 1940's to the mid-60's. The photographer is positioned on Cleveland looking north uphill toward the Lamb estate (upper left corner, 505 Cleveland; the house above it is 701 Cleveland). The white house (photo center) is across Chenault Avenue from the Strom home. The two houses at the bottom of the hill on the left are 405 and 407 Cleveland. All of these homes are still there today. This photo was featured in The Daily World Sunday 1/27/08 with a request that readers respond with further details. Thanks go to Jo-Celle (Russell) Strom and Charles Corbett for contributing information.
The people receiving the package have been identified as Frank and Fern Anderson and their daughters Jane (l) and Lois (r). The white house in the center is 301 Chenault, home of Gustaf Peterson.
