Description

Thanks to Sam Talley, who adds: "I and some high school friends went to see this whale. We had plans of getting some teeth or other souvenirs. It smelled too bad. Some people were going to try to get edible meat but also gave up. Authorities initially discussed blowing the whale to bits but settled on burying it. I can't remember if it stayed buried or washed  away with a high tide after a while."
