Description

Thanks to Sam Talley, who notes: "This is Highway 101 south of Cosmopolis. It's a long uphill grade for several miles. As high school kids we would drive to the top of the grade and head back down towards Cosie leaving the car's engine off with the transmission in neutral and 'coast' back to town to see how far we could get. Usually we'd get to the center of town. The town marshal, Jesse Tyler, would catch us rolling 2 or 3 mph in town and threaten to fine us but never did. My old 1955 Chev could coast the farthest."
