Thanks to Terri Middleton, who adds: "This photo also includes Bullard's Variety store, next door to the Beehive. Another note - the planterbox of the the tree on the lower right says "MONTESANO BIRTHPLACE OF TREE FARMS'. This is true. In 1941 the first tree farm, the Clemons Tree Farm in Montesano, was certified, setting a standard for forest practices still used today."
Thanks to Kathleen Peterson who adds: "In the 1950's the Harbor Lines Bus Depot was located across the street from the Beehive Restaurant and served many bus travelers."
