This aerial view by Stan Spiegle shows Finch Farms. Aberdeen native Edward Finch had promoted this area of small farm tracts south of the Chehalis River. Edward Finch, developer of his namesake building and a playground in Aberdeen, as well as Finch Farms south of the Chehalis River, had experienced poverty, been a state senator, a millionaire, and a philanthropist. Thanks to Steve Leeson, for noting that the small building and broadcast tower near the center of the photograph was the KXRO radio transmitter operated by Roy Olmstead.
