Thanks to Terri Middleton, who located information in the original Jones Photo Co. studio registers identifying the owners' names of three of the boats at the dock. Left-to-right: Clifford Clark owned the unidentified double-ender nearest the shed; Paul Petit owned MICKY; Sam Calhoun owned PRIVATE II. Note the enormous piles of oyster shells near the processing facility in the background as well as the barge loaded with oysters in the foreground. Since this photograph was commisioned by the Quinault Tribal Council, it is possible that these boats were Native American owned.
