Description

In the background are "the familiar twin smoke stacks in the indusrial area of Aberdeen and Hoqiuam. My father John Salick was the crane operator at ITT Rainier during the early morning earthquake of the early 60's. Dad said the stacks looked like they were doing the Hokey Pokey as well as the whole town appeared to be on a blanket that was just shaken and sent waves one after another and the houses all going for a ride."  Thanks to Dick Salick for sharing this story.
