Aberdeen's Conrad Wise, 12, boy genius. By the time this picture was taken, he had written 2 novels, a French opera based on Shakespeare's 'Hamlet', had lived in South America, travelled extensively in Europe, was fluent in 3 languages and had passing but intense interests in astronomy and archeology. With the gentle guidance of his parents and artist grandmother he was at home studying Latin, general science, algebra and geometry with high school teachers.
