Book caption reads : "Standard Oil Co. authorized distributor in this "Log" Service Station located at Heron and Chehalis Streets in Aberdeen. The photo shows the owner as John Niemi, June 17, 1939. It was probably built around 1933 and operated as Forest Service Station by Gunnar Rath until 1936. James Eubanks operated it 1937-38. red Patton had it in 1940, Art Brueher in 1941 and M. W. Canfield in August 1945. How many owners in between is anybody's guess."
