Wishkah River
An aerial view by Stan Spiegle, just off B Street in Aberdeen. Directly behind the school construction is Aberdeen High School's Stewart Field, perilously close to the Wishkah River, and to the left of the field is the Natatorium. When the new Robert Gray Elementary opened in 2002 the one seen here under construction, as well as the Natatorium, were torn down. Stewart Field was also in poor condition but has recently received a grant from the Seattle Seahawks toward its restoration. Thanks to Terri Middleton for providing information.
