12208C_1 appears on page 35 of William D. Jones' "Motor Cars and Serv-Us Stations" under the number 12208-C. The book caption reads : "Motor Village Auto Court and Service Station furnishing Mbile and Zerolene Oil at Pacific Beach, Washington. There were 24 individual cabins with a carport for each cabin. This was the forerunner of the modern motel but today your automobile is parked in a parking lot exposed to the weather. February 25, 1931."
