Thanks to Terri Middleton who adds: "At the time this photo was taken the man on the left, John J. Long, was president of Harbor Plywood.  Not long after however, due to labor and financial problems he resigned and was replaced by the man on the right, E. W. Daniels.  Mr. Daniels led the company through the growth years after WWII.  Then he too resigned in 1949 when financial matters again caused a shakeup among the company's shareholders.  He died in 1966."
