One of two identical 1950 Merc staff cars that the police department owned. They were originally delivered as all-red "chief cars" as they were called in those days, but Chief C. L. Kromm later had them painted in a red, white and blue color scheme as shown in the photo. Thanks to Dave Carlberg for contributing information.
